The Port of San Diego, founded in 1962, is a government administration. The Port manages the Maritime, Waterfront Development, Public Safety, Experiences and Environment along 34 miles of San Diego Bay. The port is charged with implementing the Tidelands Trust Doctrine. The port is present in San Diego, CA. The port is providing services, which include Maritime Trade and Cargo, Commercial Real Estate, Environment, Public Parks, and Recreation. Other services are Public Art, Harbor Police, Community Service, and Cruise Operations. The Port’s five-member cities include Imperial Beach, National City, Chula Vista, Coronado, and San Diego. They work together to develop and promote commerce, recreation, fisheries, and navigation along the San Diego Bay. The Port contributes billions of dollars annually to San Diego’s economy, which benefits the employees, local businesses, and community. The Port manages a diverse portfolio to generate revenues that support amenities and vital public services.
