About Practice Manager

What does a Practice Manager do?

We, as Practice Managers, are responsible for supporting the Regional Manager (RM) with the daily non-clinical operations. We oversee patient satisfaction, profitability, non-clinical team selection. We track performance, revenue, and development. We are responsible for helping break down the barriers to better care. We understand and communicate matric results that support successful practice operations. We oversee budget management – expenditures, labor, revenue generation. We are responsible for direct hire for non-clinical team members. We process management for hiring non-doctor clinical team members.

Core tasks:

  • onboard new team members
  • cross-train team members to ensure consistent operations
  • managing performance improvement through performance evaluation processes
  • resolve patient satisfaction concerns
  • optimize patient scheduling for positive patient flow
  • ensure the efficient handling of patient administrative tasks
  • optimize communication within the office
  • ensure the completion of clerical and administrative duties
  • monitor all health & safety protocols
  • align with the lab technician and clinical teams
