Pratt Institute is an independent university that aims to educate artists and creative professionals to be responsible contributors to society. The institute looks forward to incorporating professional knowledge, and collaborative skills in all graduate’s aesthetic judgment. The Pratt Institute was established back in 1887 by American industrialist Charles Pratt, located in Brooklyn, New York, United States and also has a satellite campus in Manhattan and an extension in Utica. A total of about 4,875 students are enrolled out of which 3,483 are undergraduates and 1,392 are postgraduates. The institute has various academic divisions such as the School of Architecture, School of Art, School of Design, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences employing an academic staff of 163 full-time and 992 part-time educators.
