About Pressman

What does a Pressman do?

As pressmen, our primary duties include operating and maintaining printing presses. We also oversee a platelets printing machine that uses forms of electronic or digital printing. We similarly perform preparation of the equipment for a smooth printing process. We monitor the printing process to make sure there are no errors. We are responsible for communicating with press technicians on press equipment issues. We also maintain records of production activities and jobs orders to ensure customer satisfaction. We are responsible for ensuring that material wastages are minimized. It is our duty to ensure that the press machines are well maintained and functional to avoid delays in servicing orders.

  • preparing equipment for the printing process
  • overseeing the printing process to make sure there are no errors
