The Pricing Lead is a newly created role designed to lead and support company-wide enhancements to our pricing strategy as well as maintain and improve the program going forward. This is a dynamic opportunity to provide direction, oversee implementation, and support ongoing management of a key business initiative. In addition to serving as the primary point of contact for the initial pricing project, you will help design and develop pricing guidelines, policies and reporting as well as leverage internal and external data analysis to model and recommend optimal pricing strategies to drive profitability. You will work cross-functionally and lead enterprise-wide communication campaigns to drive initiatives. Experience and coursework in relevant quantitative fields such as: finance, accounting, statistics, mathematics and economics. Pricing lead experience and a track record of pricing success is needed along with leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills Pricing Strategy Development – Lead strategy development and execution, work with the sales team to ensure optimal outcomes, model the impact of discounts and exceptions. Pricing Policy and Guidelines – Identify and create policies and guidelines that protect the strategy and support the sales process, troubleshoot issues and manage risk/threats. Process Oversight – Identify opportunities to continuously enhance and evolve the pricing strategy, monitor market and competitive pricing conditions and trends, work with key stakeholders to insure strategy compliance and usage. Key Performance Objectives and Job Requirements: · Serve as the lead on the pricing initiative, keep key stakeholders informed and manage project implementation. · Model and monitor the revenue pipeline to capture key metrics and analyze impact of discount programs, exceptions, and recommend changes as needed. · Present stakeholders with reports on progress as well as assess and present areas of opportunity for continued growth. · Exceptional work-ethic, personal drive, and passion for fast-paced, variable work environment. · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to positively impact internal and external client experiences.
