Job Description
Principal, Financial Analysis in Corporate Development, M&A Integration
We are seeking an M&A Integration leader to join Sabre as a Principal Financial Analysis, working with the Vice President of Corporate Development and M&A. This individual will play a key role in shaping and developing the integration approach for Sabre’s acquisitions with a keen focus on realizing the value potential of M&A. The role will collaborate with senior executives, acquired company management and internal cross-functional teams to develop and implement integration plans. The position will also participate, as needed, in the M&A execution process as well as other initiatives spearheaded by the Corporate Development team.Given the multi-dimensional nature of the role, we are seeking a strong results-oriented project manager with effective communication, problem-solving and cross-functional leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration efforts at Sabre coordinating and working closely with Corporate Development, senior executives, functional team leads and the project sponsor.
- Participate in Target due diligence to validate acquisition objectives and identify key integration issues, risks and challenges.
- Coordinate with functional teams to develop/refine workstream specific integration plans and playbooks that incorporate identified challenges, synergy objectives and stated milestones.
- Manage the overall process and timing for integration activities, conducting regular team meetings, monitoring status and driving proactive escalation/resolution of issues.
- Serve as trusted advisor and key resource to all integration teams, ensuring collaboration and information sharing among workstreams by managing cross-functional relationships through transparency, effective communication and frequent updates.
- Serve as the conduit between Corporate Development and senior executives and project sponsors on executing against the M&A deal model and tracking progress against plan for reporting and course correction, as appropriate, to achieve strategic objectives of deal.
- Conduct surveys and post-mortems with relevant stakeholders to work on continuous improvement of Sabre’s diligence and integration processes and best practices.

- Analytics: Strong critical thinking skills. Experience applying various methodologies or practices to assess processes, business issues and people. Ability to extract key messages from detail and translate into audience appropriate messages. Strong editing skills.
Qualifications and Other Skills
- BA/BS degree from a leading academic institution; MBA a strong plus
- 5-7+ years of work experience in corporate development, transaction advisory services, strategy, consulting or business operations, including 3+ years in post-merger integration. Direct experience in M&A execution and integration either within a larger private or publicly traded company or a top tier accounting or consulting firm a strong plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as collaboration and project management tools
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to customize approach for a variety of audiences
