As Principal Planners, we supervise highly-complex, advanced professional planning activities. We check and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. We maintain complex and sensitive professional planning research, analysis, and projects. In planning-related issues, we advise councils, boards, commissions, and elected officials. We provide management of division-related planning issues. We also supervise the Transportation Modeling Division of the Planning Department. It is our job to prepare reports, recommend improvements and modifications. We take part, check-in budget preparation and administration. We further hold sensitive personnel matters. Working as Principal Planner, we check operations and tasks of assigned responsibilities.
