Job DescriptionUnder limited supervision, the Project Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining project plans and engaging cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementations that support the company’s strategic objectives. Oversees the design, implementation and customer acceptance of equipment, enterprise software, systems integration and / or third party services. Provides extensive on-site day-to-day interaction and management of internal stakeholders and external partners and adapts work schedule to be available during normal business hours for the majority of those with whom collaboration is needed. May lead and direct the work of others. Ensures customer satisfaction by managing project schedules and deliverables that are on schedule and within budget. Manages the project from initiation through planning, delivery and closure using governance structures. Assembles risk mitigation plans for delayed deliverables and/or budget overruns and implements plans as approved by Steering Committee. Excellent written and verbal communications skills required to provide regular status updates to project team members, stakeholders, Executives and Steering Committee members.
Typically uses more project management skills than technical skills. Drives alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the organization. Removes barriers that prevent efficient execution of projects.

- Build resource plans from cross-functional teams
- Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor, track and report progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, project resources and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals using appropriate tools
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project and training documentation
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
- Possesses a collaborative, and relentless approach to process improvement and ability to work with all stakeholders to achieve best in class results
Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master's degree preferred. PMP certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years project management experience
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management processes and tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management and financial skills
- Demonstrated experience as a solid negotiator and facilitator
- Ability to contribute strategically to the broader needs and goals of the organization, as well as drive superior performance through hands-on, day-to-day management
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be self-motivated and fully aware of the implications of his/her actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or equivalent. Proficient with a project scheduling software.
- Must be able to interface at appropriate management levels with moderate customer/supplier interface
- Ability to promote highly ethical practice of the Procurement function
