Process Manager

Capital One is seeking a skilled and experienced Process Manager. You will coordinate the stakeholders for the program and communicate to them status and requirements. Your job will include creating frameworks to guide and coordinate product delivery, as well as the oversight and maintenance of dashboards and other tools that stakeholders will use to communicate and understand where the project is at any point in time.

As a Process Manager, you will monitor, report and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives, and make recommendations on changes, collect and analyze data for supporting recommendations and manage formal process documents, and collaborate on project teams and broader enterprise initiatives to represent business for changes that may impact department processes. There are a wide variety of stakeholders who need visibility, and you will own the communication and reporting out to those stakeholders, adapting to their required level of knowledge and involvement in the program. You will use a variety of traditional and new tools, including project planning tools, wikis and blogs, email, spreadsheets, and meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise, understanding and best practices of measurements for service delivery of our Tech services to our associates.
  • Coordinate operational metrics across the escalation management team, providing feedback to managers of the teams to improve effectiveness
  • Develop consistent, meaningful metrics to measure the effectiveness of the Tech services being delivered.  Partner with team managers to produce initial analysis of data
  • Participate in ad-hoc swat teams to address escalations or hotspots and provide cross team coordination to drive issues to resolution
  • Work with the problem management team to drive an end to end understanding of the major support volumes for Capital One ensuring that we work closely with our partners to remove the top drivers of support work in the company.  Ensure compliance to work driver processes and tools so data is captured to help drive the problem management activities.
  • Use data from operational toolset (ServiceNow primarily) to shift from a reactive support organization to one driven by accurate, timely data with an eye towards proactive monitoring and a future of self-healing for devices.
  • Partner with the various organizations delivering L0-L3 support in Capital One to achieve a seamless Associate experience, indifferent of the support channel selected.
  • Contribute and review solution designs across all the Power Up teams: ensure innovation, audit compliance, security, and business requirements are met, while also keeping a keen eye on improving the associate’s experience with technology
  • Stay connected with peers to continue driving consistency and excellence across the Capital One site teams.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge by researching new technologies and software products, participating in educational opportunities and conferences, and reading professional publications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of Process Management or Project Management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with incident management platforms (ServiceNow or Remedy)
  • At least 2 years of experience with technology support and operations teams
  • At least 1 year of experience with Excel as a project management tool

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with Confluence
  • 1+ years of experience with GSuite
  • 2+ years of experience managing client or vendor relationships
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
