About Produce Associate

What does a Produce Associate do?

As Produce Associates, we setup produce displays in a store. We are dedicated towards providing outstanding customer service by assisting them in finding specific types of produce. We also carry out maintenance duties in the store, by sorting out expired or damaged produce and removing them from the store shelf as well as ensuring that the store is neat and tidy. To become qualified Produce Associates, we are required to develop a keen attention to detail in order to be familiar with the produce in the area, and also develop a good communication skills in order to deliver quality customer experience.

Core tasks:

  • maintain up to date knowledge of produce in the store
  • provide quality customer service
  • maintain product safety and sanitation guidelines
  • report to higher management of activities in the produce area
