As Produce Clerks, we work generally in grocery stores or the produce section of a store and are responsible for the maintenance and safekeeping of these stores. We store and arrange fruits and vegetables. Our duties include following health and safety regulations, ordering stock, ensuring that all produce available to customers is fresh, and providing first-rate customer service. Sound knowledge of healthy eating is required in our field of work. Due to the nature of our work, we have to stand and walk around for longs hours at a time and have to move, lift and carry a minimum of 40lbs. We are very friendly and approachable people who ensure that customers get satisfactory shopping experience.
