About Product Coordinator

What does a Product Coordinator do?

As product coordinators in marketing, we assist the product manager in executing strategies for positioning, messaging, and branding of our assigned product. Our goal is to successfully introduce a new product to the market, and/or to enhance awareness of an existing product. For this, we act as a product advocate within the organization. We coordinate with other teams, such as product development, sales, and communications, to align them on the product strategy.

Core tasks:

  • creating use cases, user personas, messaging, content, and value propositions for assigned product(s)
  • performing target market research and evaluating results
  • identifying and securing market opportunities
  • managing product roadmaps
  • managing customer engagement and feedback
  • collaborating with other teams for strategic alignment around product
