Job Description
The Role
The Supercharging team is responsible for managing and expanding the world’s fastest electric vehicle charging network, which includes over 29,000 Superchargers worldwide. The team is looking for a Product Manager to focus on developing, managing, and executing to the group’s user experience roadmap. The individual will need to work collaboratively with several internal teams to launch features and improvements that must be coordinated across the vehicle, digital, payments, communications, software, and hardware teams. Additionally, with the global reach of the Supercharger network the individual must coordinate with regional teams to ensure smooth global feature launches including tracking and resolution of issues.
Responsibilities
Help create and evangelize the vision for the future Tesla user experience at Supercharger, Destination Charging, and public charging stations around the world
Scope features, roadmaps, and launch plans to ensure constant improvement of the Tesla user experience across all platforms; Tesla Vehicle UI, Non-Tesla EVs, Tesla App, Web and new digital products
Focus on quick testing and iteration of features
Coordinate with several internal teams to ensure smooth feature launches
Ensure tracking of bugs and issues for quick resolution by partner teams
Report and present to executive team on key features
Cross functionally manage a broad team of product and program managers to accomplish the team’s overarching goals
Requirements
5 – 7 years’ experience in program management (technical or non-technical), product management, or related role
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to synthesize information into key take-aways
Collaborative, team oriented, and highly proficient at leading cross-functional projects
Fast-moving executer and innately curious – driven to quickly learn, iterate, and improve
Software experience preferred
