Operates professional television production equipment in studio and field production situations. Equipment includes cameras, VTRs, character generator, audio board, microphones, lights and switcher. Assignments are scheduled on a rotational, on-call basis from a pool of production assistants.
Essential Job Functions
* Carries, sets up, tears down equipment and sets.
* Assists other television employees as assigned.
* Duties are performed primarily in conjunction with Mayor and Council meetings, Commission meetings, and regularly scheduled productions, however, they also are performed occasionally for special productions.
Post-secondary course work in television production. Minimum three (3) months experience working with professional video and audio equipment.
