About Production Manager

What does a Production Manager do?

As industrial production managers, we usually work in manufacturing plants. Our responsibility is to plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily operations of the plant or an assigned area of it. Working together with other departments, such as supply chain, we plan the production process, assigning tasks and schedules to staff. It is also our duty to ensure that production goals are met, and safety and other regulations and policies remain respected. We monitor performance, quality, and write production reports.
