PrideStaff has retained recruiting services for an established precision manufacturing company in Kirkwood, MO to locate an experienced PRODUCTION PLANNER who is interested in joining an industry-leading company with state-of-the-art products and manufacturing capabilities:

SALARY $50,000 - $60,000 (based on experience)

-  Develop and maintain production schedules to meet lead times and customer order timelines
-  Plan sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation and other manufacturing operations
-  Provide estimated shipping dates once order is planned and scheduled
-  Maintain scheduling parameters to include lead times, lot sizes, scales and safety stocks
-  Continually interact with operations, purchasing, engineering, sales, marketing and management to ensure successful execution of projects
-  Analyze production output to determine manufacturing processes, tools and personnel
-  Analyze planning data to calculate start dates and schedule needed to meet timeline requirements

-  3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with scheduling multiple manufacturing cells including machining, finishing, and quality cells.
-  Bachelor’s degree preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
-  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-  Knowledge of machining (Swiss lathe and 5 axis milling) and instrument making beneficial, but not required
-  Experience with multi-level bill of materials (BOM) preferred
-  Strong problem solving and analytical skills
-  Strong working knowledge of Excel

  • Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.
  • Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
  • Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.

  • Customer and Personal ServiceKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Production and ProcessingKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
