As production specialists, we carry out tasks related to industrial production. The exact nature of these tasks depends on the type of product, but typically they involve assembly and/or operating equipment. We follow set procedures, maintaining adherence to safety policies and quality standards at all times. Our performance is usually measured against set targets. Some of us also perform equipment set-up and calibration, and routine preventive maintenance tasks. From this role, we might progress into a production supervisory role.
