About Production Support Analyst

What does a Production Support Analyst do?

In the role of Production Support Analysts, we support a variety of technical services. We assist applications and infrastructure. We are responsible for the fulfillment of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. We collaborate with individuals across professional roles and teams. These include help desk vendors, Development, Operations and client infrastructure teams. We resolve software and infrastructure issues. We maintain a robust production environment to meet user needs.

Core tasks:

  • coordinate Production system upgrades
  • provide on-call support
  • assist and coordinate resolution of Production issues
  • help to define and improve production support procedures
  • interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, and other support teams
  • provide regular status reports to management
  • collaborate with management
  • improve and customize reports related to production support
  • focus on issues raised and resolve them
  • coordinate escalation and resolution of major service issues
  • assist in driving operations excellence for infrastructure and applications
  • provide Tier 3 technical support for incidents
  • check end-to-end production business flow
