Job Title:Professional I, Corporate EventsJob DescriptionOverview:Concentrix, an award-winning global business services company that provides better business outcomes for the world's most well-known brands, is in search of a passionate Event Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day management of corporate events and other similar projects throughout the organization. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Events and Staff Rewards and Recognition, and involves fully planning, directing and monitoring the events and programs they are assigned to.This role will primarily work to identify locations and venues to be used for future events and assist in the planning and organization of current events such as Annual Leadership Meetings, Global President's Club programs, Client events and more. This position will also work on other projects that may arise as a part of our global business.For the person who fills this role to be successful, they must have strong project management skills, a true passion for delivering results that benefit Concentrix as a whole, an eagle eye for detail and the ability to proactively identify areas for improvement as well as solutions that provide more value to our greatest asset - our people!In short, this is a position with many moving parts so operational and organizational skills will be your absolute sweet spot. We need someone who not only has the skills to handle them all, but the passion, tenacity and willingness to do whatever it takes to crush it and provide world-class events and experiences for our incredible staff!That's where you come in.Your mission (should you choose to accept it):* Research and identify locations and venues for future Concentrix events* Assist in the planning and organization of current events like Leadership Meetings, Global President's Club programs and more* Work closely with the Event Lead to fully understand their vision for events and assist in establishing realistic budgets* Research grants and other valuable business incentives to reduce event costs* Research vendors at selected destinations to find the best, most cost-effective services including:o Audio Visual (AV)o Transportationo Activitieso Venues to host group eventso Entertainmento Restaurants* Own our Request for Proposal process and responses for events* Work and coordinate with the Internal Communications and Graphics teams to create event and program communication timelines that get staff pumped up about attending our events* Write project communications to different audiences and staff levels spread across the globe* Create and manage project plans to ensure projects stay on task and meet deadlines* Manage budgets for company events to ensure all purchase orders are set up properly and processed timely* Organize meetings to ensure flow, enthusiastic participation and progress* Plan and direct schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget* Communicate clearly and effectively throughout the entire project process with various teams and individuals* Proactively review and suggest changes to approaches, strategies and plans to optimize the execution of projects and provide the most value* Monitor, track and manage team tasks/execution against established deliverables, plans and objectives* Adapt to changing project, programs or technology requirements, sometimes on short noticeYour skills, attributes and experience:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience* 2-3 years event planning or operational experience* Knowledge and experience in managing/handling schedules, budget, risk management and issues management* Strong natural leadership ability* Exceptional written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels/audiences within a global organization* Exceptional collaboration skills* Demonstrated effective use and intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat* Strong project management skills* Proficient with AV equipment as well as the ability to manage the setup between our presentations and AV vendors' equipment to ensure smooth presentation and transitions from PPT and/or video to the screen* Detail-oriented and timeline focused* A strong passion for people and delivering results* The ability to relate to and easily form relationships, especially with new people* Proficient at researching multiple sources to find the most appropriate data, programs, vendors or venues for any given project* The ability to comfortably speak with vendors in other countries and share event requirements* The ability to stay focused and highly organized, even during high-stress times, so events or programs go off without a hitch* The ability to quickly and effectively resolve issuesWhat's in it for you:* A diverse, global organization full of intelligent, passionate, innovative people to bounce ideas off, learn from and grow with* Endless career opportunities and clear paths for career development* A competitive salary* Incentive potential* Global awards and recognition* Fantastic benefits* And more!If you find yourself smiling right now and this feels like the perfect next step in your career, we want to hear from you!
