What does a Program Director do?

As Program Directors, we are responsible for researching, planning, developing, and implementing an organization’s programs. We hire train and mentor staff. They oversee all procedures, deadlines, and a budget they must adhere to. They hire staff and make certain the staff members are current with all required professional credentials. They ensure that all programs act within laws and regulations that pertain to the organization’s operations. We set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization. We devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance. We also develop and approve budgets and operations.

  • supervise all program and project managers
