Job Description

Program Manager - Open Source and Social Media

The Program Manager will manage a team of Open Source Analysts that are responsible for assessing online traditional and social media and networking trends and preparing and disseminating summary reports for our federal agency clients to enhance situational awareness. In addition, the Program Manager will assist analysts in the development of specific reports on media and social networking issues of interest; help manage web-based applications and tools; keep current on the latest trends, practices, programs and applications evolving in the social media/networking realm. The media monitoring capability is a 24/7/365 operation, so availability during all shifts is essential in this role. Finally, the Program Manager will manage DarkStar's relationship to the DHS National Operations Center (NOC) and generate any regular reporting deliverables as required by the contract.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree and relevant professional experience in lieu of Master's degree is required; A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

  • 10+ years of OSINT experience, DHS PAI experience highly preferred

  • Experience managing a team of analysts in a 24/7/365 operation

  • National/Homeland Security experience or education desired

  • Must be familiar with the resources and tools needed to access and disseminate information from social networking outlets

  • Experience in an information sharing or processing environment desired

  • Government/Military operations center experience preferred (not necessary in lieu of relevant professional social networking experience)

  • Successful candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and increase professional knowledge of the latest trends, practices, programs and applications evolving in social media/networking

  • US Citizenship required
