Job Description

Position: Portfolio/Delivery Manager/Program Manager
Duration: 6 Month Contract,CTH
Location: Greenwood Village, CO 80111
Responsibilities:
? This position needs to be a senior level resource and will be focused on the Portfolio view (reporting, roadmap, statusing, streamlining data, removing manual updates, reducing the number of reports, ensuring folks are utilizing the reports created, ensuring all levels in the organization are getting the data they need, etc. As well as creating a plan and managing the migration of existing customers to the new portal) for the company?s Account and Support teams.
? This individual must be able to apply program execution principles in an Agile setting.
? The Portfolio Manager/Delivery Manager role is responsible for driving delivery of the company?s Product projects that are approved and prioritized by the executive leadership.
? The Portfolio/Delivery Manager will work with other internal teams, UX/UI/FE Dev/SE/AE/IT/NetOps/QA/Etc., to ensure successful delivery of the projects.
? This resource enters the project lifecycle following Intake, Approval, and the Identification of Cross Team Impacts.
? They will kick off a project with representatives from all stakeholder groups in order to identify team roles and responsibilities, points of contact, initial project delivery timeline and schedule (while having a sense of the overall program/project schedule from Product), target dates for upcoming project milestones, a project communication and escalation plan, the team meeting schedule, and immediate next steps.
? Responsible for providing, updating and maintaining accurate weekly executive status reporting for the entire project ending at product launch. However, following the successful completion of QA Testing, the Portfolio/Delivery Manager will transition to a support role and Product will then be expected to drive the project to completion. Additionally, Product will work with this individual in order to maintain and report status of the project through launch.
? Develop and maintain relationships with their assigned peers across the organization.
? The Portfolio/Delivery Manager?s integration and partnership with teams external to their direct group will be key in driving successful delivery.
? They will be responsible for understanding the platforms they support in order to represent Product during discussions with external teams when Product is not available.
? They will not act as the subject matter expert for the platform; they will have a broad overview understanding in order to intelligently engage with the external teams.

Team Expectations:
? Delivery Manager / Software Delivery Manager / Product Owner / Program Manager / Project Manager / Other Points of Contact Within External Teams across the project will act as a cohesive unit; if there is a success or failure it reflects on the entire project team (methods of management may need to be flexible depending on the program/platform).
? All standard methodologies will be followed by all team members in order to maintain consistency across the programs/platforms.
? The broader scope of the program/platform must be understood by all team members ? DM?s should lead this effort and make recommendations around program/platform training in order to achieve this.
? Program/Platform Stakeholder impacts must be considered.
? Communicate, communicate and over communicate to ensure the entire program/platform team is on the same page at all times.

Other Roles and Responsibilities:
? Facilitate project team building (XG/UX-UI/Product/SE/QA/etc.)
? Ownership of product owner interview in order to understand the scope of the specific ask (per approved project)
? Ownership of stakeholder management
? Ownership in project delivery from kick off through QA Testing or Customer Launch
? Ownership in creation and delivery of project artifacts (Meeting Agenda/Notes, Team Roles/Responsibilities, Schedule/Timeline, UX/UI & Front End Dev Deliverables, Communication/Escalation Plan, Lessons Learned, etc.) in conjunction with Product Owners, Feature Owners, Program Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, etc.
? Ownership of scheduling and facilitating project meetings
? Ownership of the project delivery schedule with current delivery dates from cross functional teams that will be supplied to Product to become part of Product?s overall program/project schedule
? Ownership of project team communication from kick off through successful QA or Launch (including risks, issues, dependencies, interdependencies, successes, etc.)
? Ownership (with input from cross functional teams) of risk identification and mitigation with escalation to the program/platform level (if needed)
? Ownership of gathering, maintaining and assisting in the identification of project dependencies and inter-dependencies with the points of contact from external teams
? Ownership of change requests (change management process)
? Driver of deliverable and delivery task completion in partnership with points of contact from external teams
? Facilitate problem-solving
? Manage conflict escalation as necessary (project or program)
? Interact with vendors as project team deems necessary (if applicable)
? Partnership with the program/platform team
? Participate in consultative services as needed by the Product team (i.e. guidance on Intake, JIRA ? requirements/user stories/success criteria, process, etc.)
? Other responsibilities as necessary depending on the program
Must Haves:
? 7-10+ years program, portfolio, and/or product management
? SDLC management
? Release management
? Agile methodologies (SAFe experience is highly preferred)

Soft skills: polished, dynamic, energetic, positive, and willing to roll their sleeves up to create positive solutions and outcomes

Bonus Qualifications:
? Cable/telecommunications industry experience
