About Program Officer

What does a Program Officer do?

In the role of Program Officer, we are responsible for inspecting the development of organization’s programs. Our goal is to manage daily activities, and projects. Our primary responsibility is to create budgets for project costs and program expenditures. We work cooperatively with other managers and financial supporters in maintaining and developing budgets. As Program Officers, we are responsible for maintaining good relationships with other organizations which includes federal agencies and others. Some of us have the responsibility to keep informing the nonprofit organization about the ongoing activities by supplying reports.
