About Program Supervisor

What does a Program Supervisor do?

As Program Supervisors, we are responsible for implementing programs in an organization. We are responsible for monitoring program content, organizing, and attending training sessions. We implement organization policies and oversee purchasing supplies. We solve customer inquiries and research the needs and interests of beneficiaries. We develop and manage the activity calendar including planning and executing events. We oversee all supervisory aspects of a program. We provide ongoing informal and periodic formal feedback to the appropriate personnel. We ensure the planning and implementation of all program activities.

Core tasks:

  • perform daily check-ins
  • provide informal positive and constructive feedback
  • support during difficult or emergency situations
  • provide input and direction about creating and executing plans. filling out feedback forms
  • provide information to the Directors about job performance and recommendation for rehire
  • aid in the negotiation of contract and contractual changes
  • coordinate preparation of proposals, plans, and financial conditions
  • ensure adherence to master plans and schedules
