Lack of understanding by management that not everyone wants to be happy go lucky all the time. Some of us like being content, focusing on our work and our coworkers in our circle. We dont need to be FLO. But because people dont meet this expectation there is lack of promotion. And seniority means absolutely nothing, so dont expect a view of loyalty from management

Pros and Cons
Pay is decent. Great coworkers.
Theyre significantly judgemental and not always supportive.

I had always wanted to work for Progressive for the past ten years, but had another job I loved. Working at Progressive was stressful but I enjoyed, because I love assisting people. Then when I took off to my Mom to her brother's funeral even talking with my Supervisor i was written up. Then about 40 days I lose my Mom. Got wrote up for taking 3 extra days to mourn her death. Plus they didn't even bother to send me a card or flowers.

They will tell you that the job is not a 40 hr a week job and that is the truth try more like 50/60 hrs a week. But you still have to do the job in 40 hrs or get fired. If you appreciate a good work/line balance, this is not the job for you.!

Pros and Cons
Good experience ; training is great; lots of trips to Florida
Unrealistic expectations
