Job Description

Job Description At ACE, the Product Development department is responsible for building and maintaining all products that ACE provides. These products consist primarily of educational material created in written and video format, and support the learning of fitness and health professionals in pursuit of their certification and ongoing professional education. A successful team member is a reliable, responsible, self-starter with a desire to do great work and enjoy the process. The role of the Project Coordinator is to support the Product Development Project Manager, product owners, and Director of Product Development in on-time delivery of products and product deliverables. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for the operational and administrative support of the Product Development department. Reporting to the Product Development Project Manager, The Project Coordinator works collaboratively and cross departmentally in support of product deliverables. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Learning Design, Business Administration or related field · Minimum 2-3 years product or project management experience · An eye for detail, excellent organizational skills and proven ability to balance and strategically assign priorities · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Proven ability to work collaboratively to align and execute to priorities · Practiced adaptability in a fast pace environment. · Proficient across all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with product and/or project management software and other supporting tools · Experience with video production, production timelines, and video review software · Experience with online education products · NCCA certification in fitness, health, or allied health field Responsibilities: · Maintain budget tracking spreadsheets for assigned projects · Manage department accounting support including processes for: billing, coding invoices and managing GL codes for consultants, vendors, seminars, travel expenses. · Maintain department expense reporting in Profix · Write training and reference materials for product launch and/or update · Coordinate Alpha & Beta testing and Quality Assurance testing · Coordinate with vendors and contractors to arrange scheduling and payment of models, talent, sets, props, wardrobe, and other planning and coordination needs as assigned · Manage production vendors as assigned · Facilitate department intake and prioritization of interdepartmental needs · Timeline and task prioritization in support of project and operations managers · Communicate and follow up with product owners, project managers, learning design teams and other responsible parties to keep projects in scope and on time · Collaborate with accounting, marketing, and online business technology departments to create appropriate product codes for new and updated products · Review completed material for typos, errors and appropriate updates, recommend next steps of development · Oversee internal processing of new and updated contracts/agreements and statements of work as they relate to the hiring of contractors, vendors and/or subject matter experts · Review and report on revenue and engagement reports and product surveys as assigned · Review existing courses for update per provided rubric · Serve as a support function in travel and meeting scheduling for department needs · Maintain a commitment to and align with ACE mission, vision, values and programs, to successfully lead teams to represent ACE · Other duties as assigned Company Description As a nonprofit organization, the American Council on Exercise (ACE) offers professional certifications and free fitness resources to help people from all walks of life.   • Economics and AccountingKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Customer and Personal ServiceKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
