Job Duties:

We have a vacancy for a full time Music Projects Officer within the County Activities team of Hertfordshire Music Service, part of Hertfordshire County Council, leading on the planning and delivery of their bi-annual schools’ Gala concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and other large scale music projects.

The post holder will be self-motivated, able to work under minimal supervision, with excellent organisational and IT skills and advanced musical knowledge. They should have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with musicians, schools, technical teams, and members of the public, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. They will be confident in musical language, team working and adhering to budgets and tight deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity to organise high quality musical concerts involving thousands of young people in a prestigious venue. Experience in music adminstration and live event project management is desirable, and a driving licence and access to a car is required.

    TASKS
