About Promotions Producer

What does a Promotions Producer do?

As Promotions Producers, we are responsible for creating, taping, and editing news pieces and public service and commercial announcements for the television station. We work closely with the Director of Marketing & Creative Services and Brand Manager. We work to produce effective, on-brand marketing material for on-air promotional spots, digital marketing, and special projects. We create advertising and grab the audience’s attention. We provide creative ideas and solutions to promote the company's entities.

Core tasks:

  • work closely with internal clients and the creative director
  • provide promotional solutions and create and maintain brand image
  • generate creative and promotional ideas and the ability to provide storyboards
  • produce TV promotions from concept until delivery
  • write original scripts and direct voice over talent
  • review programming and news content to create promotional concepts
  • direct on-location film and video shoots
  • collaborate with the Graphics team to create elements to enhance each project
  • coordinate projects with internal departments
  • produce compelling on-air promos and image campaigns
