SUMMARY: The Provider Recruiter will work closely with our Regional Medical Director, and Vice President of Human Resources in leading our efforts to attract great physicians across all of our current and future markets. In addition, the role will offer opportunities to support general HR and training needs of the company. Through these efforts, the Physician Recruiter will play a central role in establishing and maintaining a distinctive and effective corporate culture. The Provider Recruiter will assist with establishing a recruiting process that provides a high-quality experience with the goal of leaving all potential associates with a positive impression of MedSpring, regardless of the outcome of those interviews. Qualified candidates should have proven success in progressively demanding roles, and at least (2) two years of experience recruiting Physicians, Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. In addition, candidates for the Recruiter role should possess strong analytical, communication, computer, social media, sourcing and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: Proven history in progressively demanding roles.

COMPENSATION: Base+ Quarterly Production bonus

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: At least two years of recent recruiting experience (physicians and non-physician providers). Experience in recruiting for many open positions across multiple positions and geographic markets at the same time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Assist with creating a corporate-wide provider recruiting program which is consistent with the companys expansion plans, expectations for turnover, and resource requirements.
  • Meet the companys recruiting processes and goals on a weekly basis including:
    • Sourcing of qualified physicians and mid-level providers via all means available including, but not limited to: outbound phone calls, print and web advertisements, email, direct mailings, residency development programs, job fairs and conferences and internal referral programs.
    • Determining fit by gathering available data on providers by multiple phone conversations, online review sources, reference checks, and medical board review.
    • Qualifying candidates, arranging interviews, and assuring a quality interview experience for candidates.
    • Compiling interview feedback, and working with others in making selection decisions.
  • Actively participate in process improvement projects for the recruiting department, to identify potential improvements for both candidates and the company.
  • Participate as a key member of the Recruitment team, working with the Regional Medical Director, and Vice President of Human Resources,and other senior executives to ensure that MedSpring maintains its commitment to be an employer of choice for high performing professionals.
