Started working part time at PSEG and was hired 6 months later in the litigation department as this is my line of work. Worked with great personnel and work experiences that will last a life-time. During my last few years I also work in collections and this was so challenging and rewarding as I got to assist the 2 attorneys I worked with but also personal contact with PSEG's customers. I worked at PSEG 20 years and if I had known about their work ethics and great opportunities to grow in other departments and they even had an education system in place so as to further your education, I would have applied for a position from day one and I would have had 40 years at PSEG. A wonderful Company to work.
Pros and Cons
PSEG is a wonderful Company to work. Holidays, vacation days and even sick leave.
I cannot think of any. PSEG had in place about parking, they pay half of whatever the monthly rate

Started 2 year after High School. Work up to Licensed Reactor Operator. 10 years later moved to Outage Scheduler. After 7 years moved to a Senior Scheduler position with the on line work management team. Retired in 2015 to become a contract scheduler. Have held positions as needed by Industrial Staffing Systems Inc, and Day & Zimmermann LLC. All at Salem /Hope Creek Generating Station.
Pros and Cons
Great pay and benefits
Mandatory overtime.
