About PSR

What does a PSR do?

Working as PSRs, we are accountable for performing front desk tasks in clinics or medical centres. We complete the registration processes and administer the admissions and discharge of patients in the hospitals. To provide the best possible patient services, we greet our patients at their arrival in a service-oriented and humble manner. Functioning as PSRs, we are liable for interviewing the patients briefly before making their registrations to ensure they can comply with the hospital's guidelines. For finalising the registration of patients, we also take their signatures to verify the registration and entries of patients.

Core tasks:

  • working under minimal supervision
  • scaling the patient’s check-ins and check-outs
  • entering the patient’s information in the hospital’s computerized systems
  • making reminder calls to the patients
  • communicating with patients on a daily basis
