About Psychiatrist

What does a Psychiatrist do?

As Psychiatrists, we help our patients cope with pain, loss, or depression by quickly evaluating medical and psychosocial conditions to develop and implement effective customized treatment plans through the prescription of psychotropic medications. We schedule follow-up sessions with the patients and sometimes with their families as well to monitor and evaluate the treatment results. We also conduct regular physical examinations, behavioral observation, and review the previous medical records and other related documents as well as order new laboratory tests and evaluating results to adjust the treatments and medication.

Core tasks:

  • treat patients by using appropriate psychotherapeutic methods and medications
  • maintain an adequate interdisciplinary treatment
  • document and maintain the patients’ medical records
