You get more support from your coworkers than the DM .

I learned a lot from this job . But you will always make entry level pay. My coworkers are amazing and we support each other . There is poor communication between the DM and the employees. If the DM gets upset with you over something she takes it out on your schedule.

Customer Service Specialist - Lynnwood, WA - December 26, 2021
In January 2021, hired with Public Storage—customer service specialist in the greater Seattle area. Never missed a day—always cooperative with working at different locations, if needed, sometimes covered two properties in one day! Winter, spring and summer, everything going well. Then this autumn, my supervisor unexpectedly left. Two weeks later, the replacement manager decided to let me go because I was observed on camera leaving the office door unlocked when I went to unlock the bathroom door for a customer!

Awesome coworker. Awesome DM but when new DM came, everything started falling apart. He would lie to you about a mistake he’s done and blame everybody else. He would also micromanages you like your a kid.

I did all of the work at store level making a little over Minimum wage. The District Managers make over $100,000 dollars a year...while the people that actually bring in the business get close to Minimum Wage.

The District Managers do very little work...but they get paid over $100,000.00 a year. That is just the base pay. The people that actually bring in the business get paid Minimum pay.
