The place sucked. Presses were hemoriging oil and we tried to compete against other plants with modern equipment with equipment from the Guttenberg era. Floor covered with oil the cleaning solution used to mop the floor was also oil based so only made the situation worse. Employees brought in their own cleaners to make the floor safe and were told they couldn't use the oil busting cleaner.

Started in Hartford WI as a stitcher operator before transferring to the OKC plant, transferred to the offset press room after 10 years working my way up to second pressman before becoming a trainer . Was cross trained in imagining along with being a first responder for over 15 years, when my heart and health caused me to quit my department manager did not let me and put me on disability. I got healthy and returned to work at the West Allis WI plant in finishing again. Thank you Quad

Quad Graphics is a great place to work as long as you know someone really well or related to someone. If you don’t, it’s not good. You’ll never advance. They say they are about family. That they are.
