We, as Quality Associates, work independently and examine the product by doing extensive manual testing for any area of improvement and optimization. Our job is to verify that the raw materials or components involved in production are of suitable quality and assess whether the employees need the training to prevent non-conformances later on. We also establish and maintain regulatory processes to ensure that they are properly implemented on time and followed by both clients and third-party vendors. Our job is to develop master specifications for every development that is new and ensure the contract manufacturer has received these specifications before production. All of us collect quality records and scoresheets for all the incoming products and release them on time.
Core tasks:
- maintaining and organizing records, such as data collection entries, spreadsheets, outside company contacts, and any other department related documents
- researching and investigating quality records after customer complaints
- managing multiple product improvement projects
- providing feedback for the on-going projects that have quality issues
