Job Description

Quality Assurance Technician

Position Summary:

A Quality Assurance (QA) technician's primary duty is to perform specific, defined task in support of the Quality Assurance department. Responsibilities can include providing clerical support to the Quality Assurance department (e.g., issuing records and other documents, posting documents for client review) and providing administrative support for Quality initiatives designed to enhance the Quality Management System and to ensure successful completion of key Quality projects.

The Role:
  • Expands skills in own work area within an analytical/scientific method or operational process
  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed
  • Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within our area of expertise
  • Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Works with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Spends 80% of shift in the aseptic block reviewing in process documentation for compliance
  • Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
  • High School/GED
  • Technical Certificate or higher preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • GMP experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements.
