What does a Quality Control Supervisor do?

Quality control (QC) is about ensuring that finished products meet set quality standards and requirements. As quality control supervisors, we supervise a team that carries out inspections and audit programs to identify defects and corrective actions to be taken. We manage their training, scheduling, attendance, and guidance for continuous improvement. We plan and coordinate audits, corrective action follow-up, and provide general technical assistance to operations.

  • supervising team of QC professionals
  • coordinating inspections, audits, and monitoring production processes
  • assisting QC manager on various assignments
  • implementing production measures as needed
