About Quality Improvement Specialist

What does a Quality Improvement Specialist do?

As Quality Improvement Specialists, we are responsible for improving the overall experience that the users receive in the facility. We not only gather data but also analyze it for increasing efficiency. We make recommendations in order to improve the existing procedures. Gathering data, analyzing various methods, and locating problems are some of our main responsibilities. We make sure to develop new programs in order to improve the existing systems. We also evaluate all the results of the improved programs. Finally, we modify the results if needed after evaluating the procedures. As quality improvement specialists, we interview employees in order to determine their level of knowledge.

Core tasks:

  • gathering data from the facility as well as analyzing the different methods
  • indicating problems that arise with regularity as well as addressing those issues
  • reviewing all laws, regulations as well as issues to check if they are met
