Established in 1860 by Franciscan friars, Quincy University (www.quincy.edu) is a Catholic, co-educational, residential university offering programs that combine liberal arts, active learning, practical experience, and Franciscan values for undergraduate, graduate, and adult education. The university has 19 intercollegiate sports and is a member of the men's and women's NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference.
