What does a Radiology Supervisor do?

As Radiology Supervisors, we manage and supervise the radiologists’ daily activities within the clinic to ensure that everyone understands and follows every state, federal, and clinic’s laws, and regulations. We also work with Radiologists to determine the best-marking agents and equipment to purchase in order to get better quality images. We supervise and coach new hires and teach them how to correctly insert and enter various commands and data into the computer to document then scan the sequence.

Core tasks:

  • stay up-to-date with the latest development in the field
  • secure the radioactive materials in the clinic
