RadioShack Corporation commonly referred to as RadioShack is a consumer goods distribution company that operates through independent retail chains, dealer stores, and an e-commerce website. The company currently has its headquarters present in Fort Worth, Texas, operating over 500 stores across the USA. RadioShack has a prominent history, having operated stores across the USA, parts of Asia, North Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. At its peak, the company was a household name for all consumer products, available to the general public at effective costs. RadioShack was established by brothers Theodore and Milton Deutschmann, offering parts and repair services to radio equipment. Its advent into the electronic goods industry saw remarkable growth within the corporation, all through the 1980’s and 1990’s. The company later had a slow recession, with numerous parent organization changeovers, which led to its slow decline. Some employment opportunities are present as consultant, sales, store, and assistant managers.
