Todd Graves and Craig Silvey launched Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers (commonly known as Raising Cane's) on August 26, 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as a fast-food restaurant business specializing on chicken fingers. In 2015, the business began its worldwide expansion by opening its first location in Kuwait. Because dogs are not popular in Kuwait, the eponymous mascot is not used on signage or goods. It all started with a collegiate dream: a restaurant that only serves high-quality chicken finger meals. Todd based his company approach on this notion. They want to be known for high-quality chicken finger meals, a wonderful crew, a fun atmosphere, and active community involvement, therefore they plan to open restaurants all over the world.
