I worked there for around five years and it was a horrible setting. They gaslight you and will run you into the ground. I loved the crew, and my shift managers, but everything else was terrible. Between closjng at 3 in the morning then coming back in the very next day at 7 to work, and they had the audacity to complain to you because they were tired. They will willingly work you 16 hour days without a break.

Pros and Cons
Easy hours, easy schedule quick job, no drug test
Lack of management, overworking after you turn 18, barely a pay increase

The down sides of working here as a minor

Almost every week I was scheduled outside of my availability, often times late at night. As a high school student this made life more difficult than it should be and effected my school. As a nieve minor it was very easy to be taken advantage of and that’s exactly what happened to me and most of the staff as 90% of us were still in high school. The overall work environment was full of negativity. I was told to come back before my leave of absence was over even though the managers agreed to my original return date given to me by the doctor who performed my surgery. When I was unable to make those shifts, I was fired. Because of my surgery it was unsafe for me to come back before my leave of absence ended because there were many tripping hazards which could’ve resulted in me injuring myself more (I was not 100% healed and was more like 30%) and or resulting in me injuring another crew member. Also, working a 4+ hour shift where I’d be standing the entire shift was not good for my recovery

Pros and Cons
50% off food, opportunities for pay raise
Lack of respect, inflexible scheduling (often times outside of your availability), bad mindset

It is a very fun place to work at and I’ve honestly come across some very interesting and exciting people that I’ve created a bond with. It’s an amazing work environment and it is very professional when it comes down to common grounds.
