This includes close coordination with the Technical, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Purchasing departments to convert ideas into products for the consumer.rnDuties and Responsibilities:rn+ Packaging/product design and development, test of materials, preparation of specifications, validation preparation/execution, and documentation.rn+ Provides work direction to Technicians, Tech Writers, and lower level Packaging Engineers.rn+ Identifies and implements potential cost reductions opportunities and coordinates packaging materials and equipment needs.rn+ Performs troubleshooting on new/existing packages/products/process problems as related to design, material, or process.rn+ Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments. Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from test results.
