Reading Partners is a national non-profit organization that mobilizes neighborhoods to connect children with the evidence-based, individualized reading resources they need to read at grade level by fourth grade. Reading Partners hires community volunteers to give one-on-one reading instruction to primary school children reading below grade level, assisting them in reading and in life. Every year, Reading Partners hires and trains over 15,000 community volunteers to develop a highly relevant, research-validated program. Reading Partners is committed to ensuring that each student develops the vital reading skills required for academic, social, and civic performance.
