About Real Estate Broker

What does a Real Estate Broker do?

As Real Estate Brokers, we strive hard to build connections within the real estate industry. We make clients buying and selling their property and homes. We also work with contractors, attorneys and other stakeholders involved in real estate transactions. Arranging and negotiating real estate transactions is our prime duty. We also draft purchase and sales contracts before the closing of such transactions. Working as a Real Estate Broker, we facilitate deals between buyers and sellers. We work to find a rental property in the client's desired market. Finally, we also serve to monitor and educate brokerage agents continually.

Core tasks:

  • preparing and managing lists for salable properties
  • informing clients about the specifications, rates and property availability
  • providing information on legal guidelines to clients
  • submitting offers to sellers for consideration

There is no typical age although many brokers are agents first to get to learn the business, then after having some experience, they obtain their brokers license. My case is unusual. I started as a broker and obtained my license later in life, on my way to retirement.
