Position Title: Receptionist / Concierge
Location: Arlington, VA
Industry: Residential Property Management / Real Estate
Reports to: Community Manager
Status: Part Time, Approximately 25 hours weekly

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Receptionist to support the leasing office of an apartment community in Arlington, VA. Our client is seeking a customer service oriented individual with an engaging and welcoming personality. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, free parking, and healthcare benefits.

Receptionist / Concierge Position Summary:

  • Greet and assist guests, residents and prospective residents
  • Answer telephones and provide customer service
  • Oversee front desk on assigned shift
  • Assist with leasing support
  • Receive, maintain and distribute mail and packages

Receptionist / Concierge Qualifications Summary:

  • Minimum one year experience working at a front desk or in a fast-paced retail or restaurant setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Approachable and friendly personality
  • Team-player with a positive attitude
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

TASKS

  • Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
  • Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars.
  • Hear and resolve complaints from customers or the public.

  • Administration and ManagementKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • ClericalKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Economics and AccountingKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Sales and MarketingKnowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
