About Records Management Specialist

What does a Records Management Specialist do?

Operating as Records Management Specialists, we are responsible for maintaining the data into the RIM database. We have to allocate and process records according to RIM procedures so related records are retrievable. Our goal is to assist virtual support to internal customers. We are able to check the request for records in an efficient manner. In the role of Records Management Specialist, our primary goal is to lead the team on different RIM special projects. We are capable of providing recommendations for improving content management system capabilities. We have to make sure that the system is secure.

Core tasks:

  • maintaining the data into the RIM database
  • processing records according to RIM procedures
  • providing visual support to internal customers
  • ensuring that the system is secure
