About Recreation Assistant

What does a Recreation Assistant do?

As recreation assistants, we are accountable for organising, setting up and leading activities, supporting special needs participants, and managing recreational facilities. we develop and implement various kinds of recreational activities under the supervision of recreation managers. Planning, leading activities, and maintaining recreational equipments are also listed in our core duties. Under the guidance of a fitness planner, we devise and execute outdoor programmes.

Core tasks:

  • under the guidance of a manager, arranging and organising activity programmes
  • setting up facilities for operations, such as desks, tools, electronics, etc.
  • maintaining and cleaning appliances and services for recreation
  • helping recreation employees to perform athletics, activities, and gatherings
  • assisting attendees during events
  • conducting administrative tasks such as completing paperwork and cell phone responding
