The coordination of recreational activities as well as management within a local Parks Department is the responsibility of us as a recreation supervisors. Special events, overseeing recreational facilities, administering youth programmes as well as adult recreational activities are also possible areas of our responsibility. Supervision of the community centers as well as the senior program is some more activities. We as the recreation supervisor, sometimes also have the opportunity to take care of historic preservation sites, direct library administration and work with different community programs.
